What is involved in hiring a suit?
The first step is your initial consultation with one of our professional formalwear consultants, to work out the type of function you’re attending, the dress code or theme, the appropriate cut and style for your body shape and the accessories that will match your partner/bride if applicable. We then take your measurements and place your order, at which time a $50 bond is taken to secure your booking. The suit is ready to collect a few days before the function, where you will have your final fitting to ensure that all items fit correctly. If any changes need to be made they are done free-of-charge on the final days before your event. Finally, the suit is returned on the next business day following the function and your bond is returned.
Why do I need to make an appointment?
So that we can devote our time and care to your special event, we like to set aside an appointment time so that we can carefully go through the requirements of your function to select the perfect outfit. This is especially important for wedding groups.
Do I have to dry clean the suit before returning it?
No, this is included in the hire fee. Simply check your pockets and return the suit as worn.
Do you hire boys’ suits?
Yes we do have an extensive range of boys’ suits, shirts, accessories and shoes from size 2-12 years.
Why hire when I can buy?
Ferrari offers the option of hire or buy so the choice is yours. On the plus side though, if you want a good quality suit complete with shirt, vest, tie and shoes you can’t look past hiring when it comes to affordability. We can offer you a complete outfit for only the fraction of the price of buying.
What if my suit is accidentally damaged?
Not to worry, all suit hires include an additional fee for Accidental Damage Waiver (ADW). If you accidentally damage the suit, the cost to repair or replace is on us.
My best man is overseas and isn’t getting in until a couple of days before the wedding.
All he needs to do is visit his local formalwear store or tailor and ask to be measured. We will place his order based on the measurements provided. If something needs to be changed after the final fitting, an exchange can be ordered.
What if I’m not happy with the suit when I pick it up?
The Ferrari guarantee is if you’re not happy with your suit we’ll exchange it for free.
Why do I need to have a final fitting?
It is our job to ensure you look perfect for your big event. Whilst our professional formalwear consultants are experts in measuring you up, the final fitting ensures your ensemble looks and feels as perfect as it did in the initial consultation.
